Strategic Account Manager (m/f/d)

Location: Germany

Nicholson Search and Selection is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Manager to join our team in the DACH region. Our client, a leading international strategic consultancy, provides expert guidance and unmatched benchmarking data to drive business transformation and uncover business insights.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in value/solution selling, positioning AI-supported consulting services, and managing existing client relationships. They will also have experience in winning new logos, working with implementation partners, and understanding the competitive landscape.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand existing client relationships
  • Position and sell AI-supported consulting services to clients, highlighting the value proposition and competitive advantage
  • Manage and develop existing client relationships through solution upselling and cross-selling
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, working closely with the business development team to leverage prospect stories and create a compelling value proposition
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and customer needs to effectively position our client's portfolio
  • Collaborate with internal teams to best serve the customer and drive business growth

Your Ideal Profile:

  • Proven experience in selling consulting services with top-tier consulting/IT services companies
  • Exceptional understanding of sales strategy within targeted companies and industries
  • Ability to effectively generate new business and drive revenue growth
  • Outstanding client relationship skills and verbal/written communication skills
  • Exceptional project leadership abilities and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
