Sales Operations Specialist

Location: Hamburg

This position is integral to our Shared Service team located in Hamburg. Our team is the driving force behind DEPT, comprised of individuals who excel in sales, business development, and cultivating new opportunities. As a member of our team, you will engage in a diverse environment, collaborating with specialists in Sales Operations, finance, hospitality, recruitment, People & Culture, and marketing. ROLE OVERVIEW

As a key player in the sales operations team across the EMEA region, your primary responsibility will be to drive lead generation through a variety of inbound and outbound sales strategies. You will be pivotal in identifying new business leads through creative outreach, nurturing relationships with prospects consistently, and converting them into viable opportunities aligned with established targets.

KEY DUTIES

  • Oversee the qualification of marketing qualified leads (MQLs) based on defined criteria and coordinate outreach with senior executives to optimize results.
  • Develop and manage outreach initiatives on platforms like LinkedIn, targeting specific lists while continuously monitoring engagement and making necessary adjustments.
  • Ensure the administration and maintenance of our CRM system (Salesforce) is up to date by creating and reviewing dashboards.
  • Maintain data integrity in Salesforce for marketing qualified leads, holding team members accountable for data accuracy.
  • Assist in organizing conferences and events by compiling target lists, drafting outreach communications, and coordinating meetings.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and growth marketing teams to generate campaign themes and outreach strategies, executing engagement plans to convert prospects into tangible opportunities for the sales team.
  • Participate in relevant industry events, assisting with lead preparation and representing DEPT.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fluent in both German and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities.
  • Commercially driven with a proactive approach.
  • Demonstrate effective time management skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
  • Highly organized, capable of clearly communicating the status and progress of your work.
  • Exhibit a proactive and results-oriented mindset, maintaining a confident and positive attitude.
  • Skilled in active listening, able to identify the needs of clients and colleagues alike.
  • Proven ability to serve as a trusted initial contact for new business leads, conducting thorough qualification processes and providing detailed handovers to the sales team.
  • Interest in mastering a variety of communication techniques, including goal-oriented calling, emailing, and LinkedIn outreach to foster engagement and achieve results.
  • While comprehensive training will be provided, familiarity with CRMs like Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and outbound tools would be advantageous.
  • A willingness to learn and openness to new developments.
