This position is part of our Shared Service team. Our team is the driving force behind DEPT, composed of individuals who excel in sales, business development, and cultivating new opportunities. In this role, you will engage in a diverse environment, collaborating with experts in Sales Operations, finance, hospitality, recruitment, People & Culture, and marketing. We are the backbone of DEPT, ensuring smooth operations and empowering our team members to achieve their goals.

JOB PURPOSE

As a member of the sales operations team in EMEA, your primary responsibility will be to drive lead generation through a variety of inbound and outbound sales strategies. You will play a pivotal role in identifying new business leads through creative outreach, building relationships with prospects consistently, and nurturing them into viable opportunities aligned with established targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the qualification of marketing qualified leads (MQLs) based on defined criteria and coordinate outreach with key executives to optimize results.
  • Develop and manage outreach campaigns on LinkedIn and other platforms targeting specified lists, continuously monitoring engagement and making necessary adjustments.
  • Maintain and organize our CRM system (Salesforce), ensuring that our internal information database is accurate and up to date through regular checks and dashboard creation.
  • Ensure data integrity in Salesforce for marketing qualified leads, holding team members accountable for maintaining data cleanliness.
  • Assist in the preparation for conferences and events by compiling target lists, drafting outreach messages, and coordinating meetings.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and growth marketing teams to contribute to campaign themes and outreach strategies, executing engagement plans to convert prospects into tangible opportunities for the sales team.
  • Participate in relevant industry events, assisting with lead preparation and organization, while representing DEPT.

  • An internationally oriented individual fluent in both German and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • A good listener who can identify the needs of clients and colleagues alike.
  • A trusted first point of contact for new business leads, capable of conducting thorough qualification processes and providing detailed handovers to the sales team.
  • An interest in mastering a variety of communication techniques, including goal-oriented calling, emailing, and LinkedIn outreach.
  • While training will be provided, familiarity with CRMs like Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and outbound tools would be advantageous.
  • A willingness to learn and remain open to new developments.
