This position is integral to our Shared Service team, which is dedicated to driving success within DEPT. Our diverse group excels in sales, business development, and creating new opportunities. As a member of this team, you will collaborate with professionals across various domains including Sales Operations, finance, hospitality, recruitment, People & Culture, and marketing. ROLE OVERVIEW

In this role within the EMEA sales operations team, your primary focus will be on generating leads through a combination of inbound and outbound sales strategies. You will be essential in identifying new business opportunities through thoughtful outreach, fostering relationships with potential clients, and converting them into actionable leads aligned with established targets.

KEY DUTIES

  • Oversee the qualification process for marketing qualified leads (MQLs) based on set criteria and coordinate outreach efforts with key stakeholders to optimize results.
  • Develop and manage outreach initiatives on platforms like LinkedIn, continuously assessing engagement and making necessary adjustments.
  • Maintain and enhance our CRM system (Salesforce), ensuring that our internal data repository is accurate and up-to-date through regular dashboard checks.
  • Ensure the integrity of data related to marketing qualified leads in Salesforce, holding team members accountable for data accuracy.
  • Assist in organizing conferences and events by compiling target lists, drafting outreach messages, and scheduling meetings.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and growth marketing teams to create campaign themes and outreach strategies, executing plans to nurture prospects into viable opportunities for the sales team.
  • Participate in relevant industry events, aiding in lead preparation and representing DEPT effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fluency in both German and English, with strong communication skills in both languages.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, alongside strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Commercially minded with effective time management skills, capable of adapting in a dynamic environment.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to communicate progress and developments clearly.
  • Proactive and results-oriented, maintaining a positive and confident demeanor.
  • Adept at listening and identifying the needs of clients and colleagues alike.
  • Proven ability to serve as a reliable point of contact for new business leads, ensuring thorough qualification and effective handover to the sales team.
  • Interest in various communication techniques, including goal-oriented calling, emailing, and LinkedIn engagement.
  • While training will be provided, familiarity with CRMs like Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and outbound tools is advantageous.
  • A willingness to learn and embrace new developments.
