Position Overview

We are in search of a skilled Sales Engineer to bolster our sales teams in Germany and beyond, taking charge of all technical interactions with our clients and prospects.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the industry and the ability to navigate technical challenges that may arise during the sales process, ensuring our clients can effectively utilize our services.

This role is well-suited for a technically adept engineer eager to advance their career in the thriving tech landscape and drive change within large enterprises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical insights to both new and existing clients, aiding regional sales teams in achieving revenue targets.
  • Provide technical pre-sales design recommendations and justifications.
  • Manage and enhance our technical relationships with cloud-savvy clients.
  • Communicate project and account status with internal teams.
  • Design and implement large-scale projects within a cloud framework.
  • Identify new business prospects and broaden our service offerings.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Experience in a Cloud or SaaS technology environment.
  • In-depth knowledge and practical experience with one or more of the following: AWS, GCP, Azure, CDN, Security, and DevOps.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated success in a technical, client-facing role.
  • Familiarity with enterprise purchasing processes, stakeholder management, and developing technical advocates.
  • Ability to articulate technical challenges and propose solutions.
  • Experience in designing and implementing cloud-based technology solutions.
  • Broad understanding of Internet architectures.
  • Technical leadership capabilities to support project management and pre-sales teams, managing projects with minimal oversight.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven track record in managing relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities.
