Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team in the DACH region. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role in assisting with the selling of our SaaS-based human resources platform. Your extensive knowledge of the HR industry, workflows, and processes will enable you to communicate the differentiated value of our platform to customers.

About the Role

As a Sales Engineer, you will work closely with our Account Executives to provide technical expertise and support to customers. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and delivering technical demonstrations of our software to explain our company's products or services to customers
  • Discussing and invoking conversation around needs and pains in the HR tech space with customers
  • Collaborating with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support both before and during calls
  • Listening to potential customers' technical requirements and needs and relaying this feedback/information back to the product for development
  • Soliciting and logging client feedback and evaluating the data to create new sales and marketing strategies to target customers
  • Assisting in training members of the sales team on the technical aspects of the company's products and services

Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer who possesses:

  • Demonstrable experience in a Pre-sales / solutions consultant/sales engineering capacity supporting SaaS, B2B sales
  • Fluency in English and German
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills
  • The ability to relay technical information to non-technical customers
  • Excellent technical and problem-solving skills
  • A passion for winning, with a team player mentality
  • Resourceful and motivated to succeed
