Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster and enhance constructive partnerships with our clients to ensure Visa is integral to their operational framework, growth initiatives, and strategic vision.
  • Innovate sales strategies for both current and prospective clients.
  • Exhibit a proactive mindset to discover, engage, and nurture client relationships, identifying avenues to integrate and promote Visa's offerings within their business strategies.
  • Employ a consultative methodology to grasp our clients' needs and business implications, proposing services and solutions that drive mutual growth.
  • Contribute to the annual business and account strategies for your clients to meet revenue and profitability objectives.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams at Visa (Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Consultants, etc.) to deliver cohesive solutions.
  • Lead negotiations, implementation, and management of customer contract processes.
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of the payment technology landscape, particularly Visa's products and services.

This role offers a hybrid work model. Employees in hybrid positions are expected to spend 2-3 designated days in the office each week, as determined by leadership, with a general expectation of being present in the office at least 50% of the time based on business requirements.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience, enthusiasm, and understanding of the financial services sector, especially the payments industry.
  • Proven track record in client-facing roles, consistently meeting commercial objectives.
  • Experience in Sales, Business Development, or Relationship Management, with a strong ability to cultivate relationships and expand existing partnerships.
  • Consultative experience or consultative selling background is advantageous.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities and proactively recommend solutions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with colleagues and influence external stakeholders and decision-makers at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated skills in persuasion, sales, and negotiation.
  • Fluency in both German and English, written and verbal.
