In this role, you will be integral to our Business-to-Business initiatives, particularly within our Institutional Sales division. This team combines premier content with cutting-edge technology to deliver essential business and financial news to a diverse clientele, including financial firms, government entities, media organizations, and corporate clients.
Your primary focus will be to enhance our clients' market positions in designated territories, actively pursuing new business avenues while nurturing an existing portfolio of prestigious accounts. With a strong market presence in the Risk Compliance sector, we have consistently achieved double-digit growth over the past five years. Our newly launched AI-driven platform further empowers clients in their due diligence and risk management efforts.
Your Contributions:
As a Client Relationship Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Driving revenue growth within your assigned territory, focusing on securing new business from key prospects.
- Retaining and expanding revenue from existing clients through effective cross-selling strategies.
- Building and nurturing relationships across all levels within client organizations, particularly at senior management levels.
- Developing and executing tactical initiatives based on strategic account analysis and territory planning.
- Collaborating with marketing to create innovative campaigns and manage local initiatives.
- Gathering and sharing insights on market trends, competitor activities, and client needs.
- Identifying and communicating customer feedback to relevant internal teams to inform product management and market strategies.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in B2B sales, with a demonstrated ability to navigate complex organizations.
- Strong analytical skills to identify and articulate client needs and business priorities.
- A proactive and disciplined approach, with a history of generating new revenue from both new and existing clients.
- Knowledge of industry trends and competitive landscape to capitalize on emerging business opportunities.
- A background in the online business information sector or experience within the Risk & Compliance or SaaS industries is advantageous, though not mandatory.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and fluency in both written and spoken English and German.
