This role presents a distinctive chance to become part of a newly formed team within Customer Experience (CX), acting as the customer advocate to represent the service dimension of Cisco's comprehensive solutions for large-scale and intricate projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue business opportunities, aligning efforts with Service Sales teams to promote Cisco's Lifecycle selling and transformational initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of future solutions by influencing the architecture utilized across various products or systems.
  • Co-lead the pre-sales solution architecture, presenting the overall technical vision for specific solutions to stakeholders.
  • Manage CX Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) for designated accounts.
  • Design, assess, and implement strategies and proposals for impactful solutions, taking into account factors such as long-term effectiveness, practicality, technical constraints, and criticality.
  • Exhibit a cross-architecture approach in solutions development, utilizing mid to high-level technical expertise to create journey maps and multi-year roadmaps.
  • Focus on pre-sales architecture activities, ensuring seamless collaboration with post-sales architects to guarantee the successful delivery of scoped solutions.

Collaboration
In this capacity, you will have the opportunity to work across various functions, including collaboration with the Sales team, CX Chief Technology Officer, and our Deal Acceleration Team to facilitate the progression of opportunities towards closure with minimal friction. You will engage with both internal and external partners, including ecosystem partners, to ensure comprehensive and scalable technology implementations are achievable.

Qualifications

  • Experience in consultative selling through designs, blueprints, architecture frameworks, systems, or products, aligning them with the customer's desired business outcomes.
  • Familiarity with the Professional Services sector, possessing a delivery background with strategic clients, and industry-specific expertise to contextualize solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills at the executive level, capable of simplifying complex solutions to convey their value effectively.
  • Fluency in German is required, with a preference for candidates of German nationality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Possession of at least one CCNP certification or equivalent industry certification.
  • ONEx Technology Blue Belt or similar technical certification or comparable skills.
  • Direct experience in customer pre-sales or previous involvement in Cisco Business Development.
