This role presents a distinctive opportunity to be part of a newly formed team within Customer Experience (CX), acting as the customer champion to represent the service component of Cisco's comprehensive solutions for large-scale and intricate projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify business opportunities, coordinating efforts with Service Sales teams to support Cisco's Lifecycle selling and transformational initiatives.
  • Shape future solutions by contributing to the architecture utilized across various products or systems.
  • Co-lead the pre-sales solution architecture, presenting the overall technical vision for specific solutions to stakeholders.
  • Manage CX RFP/RFIs for designated accounts.
  • Develop, assess, and execute plans and design proposals for impactful solutions, considering factors such as long-term viability (service delivery and cost), feasibility, technical constraints, and criticality.
  • Exhibit a cross-architecture approach in solutions development, demonstrating mid to high-level technical expertise to create journey maps and multi-year roadmaps.
  • Concentrate on pre-sales architecture activities, ensuring a seamless transition to post-sales architects; serve as the link to guarantee the scoped solution is effectively delivered.

Collaboration

In this position, you will have the chance to work across various functions, including collaboration with the Sales team, CX CTO, and our Deal Acceleration Team to advance opportunities toward closure with minimal obstacles. You will engage with internal and external partners, including ecosystem partners, to facilitate comprehensive and scalable technology implementations.

Qualifications

  • Experience in consultative selling through designs, blueprints, architecture frameworks, systems, or products (the solutions) aligned with the customer's desired business outcomes.
  • Understanding of the Professional Services sector with a Delivery background, particularly with strategic clients. Industry-specific expertise for contextualizing solutions to the vertical.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills at the executive level to effectively convey the value of complex solutions.
  • Fluency in German is required, with a preference for candidates of German nationality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least one CCNP certification or equivalent industry certification.
  • ONEx Technology Blue Belt or similar technical certification or equivalent skills.
  • Experience in direct customer pre-sales or previous Cisco Business Development experience.
