About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Architect to join our team at SAP. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in designing and developing custom software solutions that meet the unique needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop software solutions using SAP S/4 HANA and Business Technology Platform (BTP)
- Work closely with internal colleagues, partners, and customer teams to ensure successful project completion
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and specify business requirements gathered in customer workshops
- Implement and maintain software solutions, ensuring compliance with development standards and methodologies
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying knowledge to improve software solutions
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in design and development on SAP S/4 HANA or BTP
- Proficiency in either React development or full-stack ABAP technologies (CDS, Gateway, CAP, UI5, Fiori Elements)
- Experience in implementing GenAI and/or Machine Learning use cases
- Excellent presentation skills and experience in customer interaction, such as customer workshops or technical management of customer escalations
- Experience in at least one industry, such as Finance or Automotive/Logistics, is a plus
- Research experience (e.g. PhD study) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities
- Compliance with development standards and methodologies (Scrum, quality, security, performance)
- Self-motivating style of working combined with a continuous learning mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication in German and English
