Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Principal E/E Software Architect with a strong passion for Automotive Electronics, particularly in enhancing in-cabin user experiences. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your expertise in vehicle E/E software systems to influence the future of automotive audio integration.

As a Principal Architect, you will be responsible for:

  • Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in full vehicle E/E software architecture, analyzing trends and developing comprehensive technology roadmaps.
  • Focusing on the Audio domain, collaborating with product line experts and stakeholders to establish best practices in E/E software architecture.
  • Innovating E/E and Audio domain software architectures for our reference vehicle, working closely with product line architects and domain specialists.
  • Supporting analyses related to technology partnerships and mergers & acquisitions.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • A robust background (8+ years) in Automotive software architecture with a specialization in Audio.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of E/E software architecture domains, including system partitioning and integration.
  • Proven technical leadership capabilities, with a talent for motivating and inspiring teams.
  • Familiarity with Functional Safety (ISO26262) and Cybersecurity (ISO21434) standards.
  • Proficiency in UML and related tools.
  • Experience with operating systems such as Android, Linux, QNX, and AUTOSAR.
  • Understanding of Automotive service-oriented architectures (SoA) like SOME/IP and DDS.
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive audio systems, including interfaces, amplification, and sound processing.
  • Experience in developing audio solutions across various domains, including safety-critical applications.
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++ and experience in automotive production software development.
