Role Summary
This role provides a unique chance to become part of a newly established team within Customer Experience (CX), acting as the customer advocate to represent the service dimension of Cisco's comprehensive solutions for large-scale and intricate opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
In collaboration with the sales team, you will leverage your exceptional expertise in professional services, industry sectors, and technology to spearhead the development of new business prospects and tailor service solutions to meet client needs. Your contributions will enhance our product offerings by creating optimal service combinations and outcomes for our clients.
- Identify and pursue business opportunities, aligning efforts with Service Sales teams for Cisco's Lifecycle selling and transformational initiatives.
- Shape future solutions by contributing to the architecture utilized across various products or systems.
- Co-lead pre-sales solution architecture and present the overarching technical vision for specific solutions to stakeholders.
- Manage CX RFP/RFIs for designated accounts.
- Design, assess, and implement strategies and proposals for impactful solutions, considering long-term effectiveness, practicality, technical constraints, and criticality.
- Adopt a cross-architecture approach in solutions development, demonstrating mid to high-level technical expertise to create journey maps and multi-year roadmaps.
- Focus on pre-sales architecture activities while ensuring seamless collaboration with post-sales architects to guarantee the successful delivery of scoped solutions.
Collaboration
In this position, you will have the opportunity to work across various functions, including collaboration with the Sales team, CX CTO, and our Deal Acceleration Team to facilitate the progression of opportunities to closure with minimal obstacles. You will engage with both internal and external partners, including ecosystem partners, to ensure comprehensive and scalable technology implementations.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Experience in consultative selling through designs, blueprints, architecture frameworks, systems, or products, aligning them with the customer's desired business outcomes.
- Knowledge of the Professional Services sector with a delivery background working with strategic clients, including industry-specific expertise for contextualizing solutions.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively convey the value of complex solutions to executive-level stakeholders.
- Fluency in German, with a preference for candidates of German nationality.
Preferred Qualifications
Additional qualifications that would be advantageous include:
- At least one CCNP certification or an equivalent industry certification.
- ONEx Technology Blue Belt or similar technical certification or equivalent skills.
- Direct customer pre-sales experience or prior Cisco Business Development experience.
