Regional Business Manager (f/m/d) - Oncology

The Regional Business Manager will oversee the oncology product line, engaging with key regional stakeholders through a comprehensive approach that includes healthcare professionals, local health networks, and associations. This role involves identifying and nurturing relationships with potential clients and stakeholders in the oncology sector to drive business growth. Collaboration with the marketing team is essential to develop and execute strategic initiatives and support projects for various stakeholder groups.

The RBM is accountable for coordinating all cross-functional activities related to oncology clients within their designated area.

The Regional Business Manager will maintain ongoing communication with identified clients, utilizing various channels such as personal visits, calls, project work, and educational events to foster strong partnerships with healthcare professionals. This role is not limited to routine office visits but focuses on building enduring relationships with healthcare providers. The RBM will also lead the Medical Customer Manager in their business area and is responsible for customer prescriptions of oncology medications.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a knowledgeable contact for oncology physicians and other stakeholders, facilitating the use of our oncology products.
  • Plan and execute initiatives targeting various specialist groups and their support staff within oncology.
  • Collaborate with the Market Access department to mitigate local market access challenges.
  • Provide scientific guidance to clients regarding the use, effects, composition, and risks associated with monoclonal antibodies and other oncology drugs.
  • Share insights and experiences with clients about our products and relay this information to the internal team.
  • Develop and implement interaction formats and projects for all customer groups in close collaboration with cross-functional departments (Marketing, Medical, Market Access).
  • Present the latest product data to stakeholders.
  • Expand and maintain existing client relationships while acquiring new ones.
  • Achieve specific company goals, both quantitative and qualitative.
  • Plan and organize events.
  • Complete administrative tasks, including documentation and maintaining internal customer databases.
  • Analyze and evaluate sales trends based on regional sales data.
  • Create and execute business plans.
  • Manage customer data effectively.
  • Oversee budget management.
  • Organize and implement regional events and participate in national congresses.
  • Conduct proactive competitive analysis and report findings to the Team Lead.
  • Consult and collaborate with back-office support.
  • Engage actively in conferences and projects.
  • Adhere to relevant compliance regulations.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing IT systems.


Qualifications

  • Degree in pharmacy, medicine, chemistry, biology, or a related field.
  • Strong connections with oncology clients and stakeholders, including opinion leaders and relevant networks.
  • Proven track record of success in similar roles.
  • Comprehensive understanding of stakeholder decision-making processes and health economic drivers.
  • Experience in supporting marketing initiatives and project management.
  • Professional background in pharmaceutical field service, particularly with biologicals or biosimilars.
  • Exceptional customer orientation and communication skills.
  • Reliable, organized, and capable of independent work while being a team player.
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English and German.
  • Willingness to travel and possess a valid driver's license (Class B).
