Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Regional Business Manager (f/m/d) for Oncology to oversee our oncology product portfolio and engage with key regional stakeholders. This role involves a comprehensive approach to managing relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs), local healthcare networks, and associations.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a knowledgeable point of contact for oncology physicians and stakeholders, facilitating the effective use of our oncology products.
- Plan and execute initiatives targeting various specialist groups and their support teams within the oncology field.
- Collaborate with the Market Access department to minimize local market access challenges.
- Provide scientific insights regarding monoclonal antibodies and other oncology treatments to clients.
- Share product experiences with clients and relay relevant information to internal teams.
- Develop and implement engagement strategies with all customer segments in close cooperation with cross-functional departments.
- Present the latest product data and maintain existing customer relationships while acquiring new clients.
- Achieve specific company goals, both quantitatively and qualitatively.
- Organize and manage events, ensuring compliance with administrative requirements and maintaining customer databases.
- Analyze sales trends and develop actionable business plans based on sales data.
- Manage budgets and oversee regional events, including participation in national congresses.
- Conduct competitive analysis and report findings to the team lead.
- Engage actively in conferences and collaborative projects while adhering to compliance regulations.
- Utilize IT systems effectively to support operational needs.
Qualifications
- A degree in pharmacy, medicine, chemistry, biology, or a related field is required.
- Established connections with oncology customers and stakeholders are essential.
- Proven track record of success in similar roles is preferred.
- Understanding of decision-making processes and market dynamics in healthcare is crucial.
- Experience in marketing support and project management is beneficial.
- Background in pharmaceutical field service, particularly with biologicals or biosimilars, is desirable.
- Strong customer orientation and excellent communication skills are necessary.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English and German is required.
- Willingness to travel and possess a valid driver's license (Class B).
