About the Role

Aerzen USA Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead our customer relationship management efforts and develop new customers for our Aerzen blower and compressor solutions in pneumatic conveying and wastewater treatment applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue and market share in the Northeast Region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with end-user customers, engineering firms, and OEMs to effectively influence their purchasing specifications to include Aerzen products.
  • Identify and develop new customers within the market/region, and find new applications for Aerzen products.
  • Manage the relationship with key customer accounts, understand the landscape within each key account, the decision-makers, and how decisions are made.
  • Provide support to customers, OEMs, and engineering firms as needed, including equipment selection, review of specifications, compliance with standards, total cost of ownership assessments, etc.
  • Indirectly manage channel partners and sales representatives within the territory to ensure that our value proposition is properly shared with engineers and customers early and throughout the potential project.
  • Prepare quotations and bid submittals, and coordinate support as required for pre-bid meetings and follow-up.
  • Prepare and deliver professional presentations, and coordinate customer education efforts as required.
  • Prepare sales projections, forecasts, strategies, and reports as required, utilizing CRM system as applicable.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as required, and support preparations for regional and national trade shows. Attend and work the show as needed.
  • Support order processing efforts, and effectively support customer follow-up activities throughout the order execution process.
  • Work closely with the Reliability Engineer to identify upgrade and retrofit opportunities for Aerzen solutions in existing operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school), or relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • 5 years of experience in the sale of industrial equipment, with direct experience with rotary screw compressors and positive displacement blowers a plus.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts, such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Motivational skills, and a strong sense of urgency to meet customer commitments in a timely and 'above expectations' manner.
  • Energetic, self-starter who can manage travel and work in remote locations autonomously.
