Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Regional Sales Manager to lead customer relationship management efforts and develop new customers for Aerzen blower and compressor solutions in pneumatic conveying and wastewater treatment applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Call on end-user customers, engineering firms, and OEMs to effectively influence their purchasing specifications to include Aerzen products.
  • Uncover and develop new customers within the market/region, finding new applications for Aerzen products.
  • Manage relationships with key customer accounts, understanding their landscape, decision-makers, and decision-making processes.
  • Provide support to customers, OEMs, and engineering firms as needed, including equipment selection, specification review, compliance with standards, and total cost of ownership assessments.
  • Indirectly manage channel partners and sales representatives within the territory to ensure our value proposition is shared with engineers and customers.
  • Prepare quotations, bid submittals, and coordinate support for pre-bid meetings and follow-up.
  • Deliver professional presentations and coordinate customer education efforts as required.
  • Prepare sales projections, forecasts, strategies, and reports as needed, utilizing CRM systems.
  • Assist in developing and implementing marketing plans and support preparations for regional and national trade shows.
  • Support order processing efforts and customer follow-up activities throughout the order execution process.
  • Work closely with the Reliability Engineer to identify upgrade and retrofit opportunities for Aerzen solutions in existing operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school) or relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • 5 years of experience in the sale of industrial equipment, with direct experience with rotary screw compressors and positive displacement blowers a plus.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts, motivational skills, and a strong sense of urgency to meet customer commitments.
  • Energetic, self-starter who can manage travel and work in remote locations autonomously.
