Convention and Event Coordinator

- Oversee the management of event and group reservations in collaboration with the Convention Sales Team.
- Facilitate effective communication with clients regarding their event and group bookings.
- Maintain and update reservation details in the Property Management System.
- Coordinate event logistics and provide on-site assistance during events.
- Support sales efforts for last-minute event and room group requests.
- Draft and manage contracts, ensuring accurate entry into the Property Management System.
- Prepare Function Sheets and lead weekly meetings to discuss event details.
- Work closely with various departments to ensure seamless event execution.
- Prepare invoices and manage follow-up processes.
- Conduct debrief sessions with event organizers to gather feedback.
- Ensure smooth team transitions and handovers.
- Provide training for new team members and apprentices.
- Compile internal reports on event activities.
- Extensive experience in a comparable position.
- Strong sales background, ideally within the hospitality sector.
- Fluency in both German and English.
- Highly organized with a proactive approach to tasks.
- Creative, adaptable, and decisive in problem-solving.
