  • Manage event and group bookings from the Cluster Convention Sales Team, ensuring seamless coordination and execution.
  • Handle in-house and ongoing communication with event and group bookers, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Update bookings in the Property Management System (PMS) to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Conduct event arrangements and on-site support, ensuring a smooth and successful experience for guests.
  • Sales and support for short-term event and room group inquiries, leveraging industry knowledge and expertise to drive revenue growth.
  • Prepare contracts and input into the PMS, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Create Function Sheets and conduct weekly Function Meetings, facilitating effective communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Collaborate with various departments for event planning and execution, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
  • Invoice preparation and follow-up, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing.
  • Conduct feedback sessions with event organizers, gathering insights and suggestions to improve future events.
  • Team handovers, ensuring a smooth transition of responsibilities and knowledge.
  • Train new team members and apprentices, sharing expertise and best practices to drive success.
  • Internal reporting, providing regular updates and insights to stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Several years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Solid sales experience, preferably in the hotel industry, with a strong understanding of market trends and customer needs.
  • Proficient in German and English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly motivated with strong organizational skills, able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Flexible, creative, and decisive, with a strong ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
