Group & Convention Coordinator (m/w/d) - Event Management Expert

Responsibilities & Activities

  • Assume responsibility for event and group bookings from our Convention Sales Team upon contract confirmation
  • Take over in-house and ongoing contact for event and group bookers, as well as updating bookings in the PMS Opera system
  • Coordinate event agreements and provide on-site support
  • Sell and manage short-term event and group booking requests, including creating contracts and updating the PMS Opera system
  • Prepare function sheets and lead weekly function meetings with all operational departments
  • Collaborate across departments to plan and execute events
  • Generate invoices and conduct post-event follow-up
  • Conduct feedback sessions with event organizers
  • Transfer groups within the team
  • Induct new team members and trainees
  • Internal reporting
Qualifications & Skills

  • Several years of experience in a comparable work environment and position
  • Comprehensive experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Secure German and English language skills
  • High level of self-motivation
  • Flexibility, creativity
  • Structured, organized, and decision-making
