Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager IBN for South-East Germany and Austria to join our Corning team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for maximizing sales and margin for all assigned Corning Optical Communications' products to the Enterprise Network market in the allocated region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a territory plan to maximize sales and margin for all assigned Corning Optical Communications' products.
  • Generate leads and identify new opportunities, positioning and specifying Corning's solutions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with end users, distribution channels, and installers.
  • Ensure that all Corning Optical Communications' business processes are followed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (technical) or equivalent.
  • 3 or more years of sales experience preferably in the same industry, with proven success rate at levels above sales quota.
  • Strong technical / product / industry knowledge.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
  • Very good German and English language skills.
  • High flexibility and willingness for 3 to 4 days of business travel per week.

Working Conditions:

  • The position holder must be able to work effectively from a home office base with minimum supervision.
