Sales Manager for Optical Communications in South-East Germany and Austria

Corning is a leading innovator in materials science, and we're seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to join our team in Germany. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for maximizing sales and margin for Corning Optical Communications' products in the Enterprise Network market in the allocated region.
Key Responsibilities:- Generate leads and identify new opportunities, positioning and specifying Corning's solutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with end users, distribution channels, and installers.
- Develop and implement territory plan and adjust sales techniques according to interactions and results in the field.
- Ensure that all Corning Optical Communications' business processes are followed.
- Bachelor's degree (technical) or equivalent.
- 3 or more years of sales experience preferably in the same industry, with proven success rate at levels above sales quota.
- Strong technical / product / industry knowledge.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Very good German and English language skills.
- High flexibility and willingness for 3 to 4 days of business travel per week.
