About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Director of Strategic Partnerships to join our team at Lightspeed. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing our partnerships strategy across our Hospitality products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of partnership managers to oversee all product integration partnerships across our point of sale and online ordering platforms.
  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships opportunities to drive growth and innovation in the Hospitality space.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute our 'build/buy/partner' framework to accelerate our product roadmaps and build product moats for our Hospitality business.
  • Develop and negotiate strategic partnership agreements that meet the company's strategic needs while ensuring mutual benefit to both parties.
  • Manage results with partner companies through regular governance processes.
  • Act as a key source of knowledge and subject matter expertise on market and competitive dynamics.

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience working in partnerships in the point of sale, payments, or Hospitality SaaS space.
  • Proven results working across legal, product, and commercial teams.
  • Experience in a global SaaS environment, preferably in a fast-growth and global company.
  • Track record of being able to set or shape strategy, as well as deliver executional plans that have measurable impact on the business.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of accountability, while also able to collaborate cross-functionally with exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fluid, fast-paced, and unpredictable environment.
  • Unquestionable ethics, integrity, and business judgment.
