Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager of Content Partnerships to join our team. This role is pivotal in fostering relationships with local content creators and producers, enhancing our network's offerings in the German market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage with third-party content providers, including podcast producers and media agencies, to enhance our content library.
  • Support negotiations for the creation of original content, collaborating closely with internal departments such as Content, Legal, and Marketing.
  • Act as the primary liaison for third-party shows, ensuring seamless communication and coordination across various teams.
  • Onboard new content partners, manage inquiries, and facilitate regular updates on performance metrics.
  • Proactively address strategic challenges that may affect our operational goals.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape to inform strategic initiatives and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with global teams to develop financial models and approval documents.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in content acquisition, licensing, or business development.
  • Proven ability to cultivate relationships with key industry stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset.
  • Fluency in English (C1) and German (C2) is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Business or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of the DACH podcast market and its business dynamics.
  • Experience in content acquisition within the audio entertainment sector.
  • Strong networking and public speaking skills.
