About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Environment Artist to join our team at THQ Nordic. As a key member of our art team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality environment and prop art assets that bring our games to life.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Environment Artist, you will:
- Collaborate with our art team to develop and implement environment art vision and technical details.
- Communicate effectively with outsource partners to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Provide feedback on art assets created by outsource partners to ensure high-quality results.
- Create Environment and Prop art assets according to concept art and Art Director instructions.
- Develop textures and materials that meet our high standards.
- Setup Engine Materials for in-game use.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Extensive experience in 3D modeling and sculpting.
- Experience in blockout to low poly / zspheres to low poly workflow.
- Experience in hand painting and procedural texturing.
- Good technical understanding of normal map baking.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills (English a must).
- At least three shipped titles as an artist.
- Experience with HDR asset creation is a plus.
