Responsibilities- Collaborate with lead artists and other team members to ensure consistency in environment asset implementation.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our game's style guide to guarantee consistency in asset creation.
- Create believable and immersive environments that meet the technical limitations of CRYENGINE.
- Design and develop game-ready assets, considering the technical requirements of the game.
- Supervise and mentor junior artists, providing guidance and feedback to ensure their growth and success.
- Work closely with our tech-art department to improve workflow and optimize asset creation.
- Coordinate with level designers and production teams to achieve project objectives.
- Deliver high-quality assets on time, meeting the project's quality standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our game's visuals.
- 5+ years of experience in game development, with a focus on environment art.
- Expert understanding of current game art processes, limitations, and dependencies.
- Strong ability to create realistic environments in real-time engines.
- Proficiency in 3ds Max, Blender, Photoshop, Substance Designer/Painter, and ZBrush.
- Knowledge of common real-time game engines and their technical limitations.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to manage and supervise mid-level and junior artists.
- Ability to deliver and receive constructive feedback, with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Good English communication and writing skills, with the ability to collaborate with international teams.
