OBJECTIVE AND SCOPE: The role focuses on providing leadership and expertise in Operational Excellence to both clinical and administrative personnel, aiming for successful enhancements in operational and business performance while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. Collaborating with various Operational Excellence disciplines, this position engages in both business and technical discussions, overseeing the vision, direction, management, implementation, and sustained control of assigned projects, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals. This role acts as a subject matter expert in change management methodologies, facilitating the creation and execution of strategies that promote the adoption of new processes and programs across medium-sized projects or programs of moderate complexity. Additionally, it emphasizes skill development within the Operational Excellence Team and throughout the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides expert change management support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle across all Operational Excellence functions. Collaborates with all Operational Excellence disciplines to clarify roles and responsibilities in guiding change management strategies. Conducts impact analyses to identify and assess change impacts, readiness, and key stakeholders. Works with technical and business leaders to develop stakeholder needs analyses, targeted communications, and change measurement tools. Establishes metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the progress of change management plans, regularly reporting on adoption metrics and seeking continuous improvement opportunities. Applies structured methodologies to lead change management activities, utilizing processes, tools, and templates to support project initiatives. Implements specific change management strategies, including planning, risk identification, stakeholder coordination, and overcoming obstacles. Develops and executes communication strategies to manage key messages effectively. Utilizes existing organizational change frameworks to refine comprehensive change strategies for high-impact initiatives. Addresses diverse issues to deliver improvements and transformational change, analyzing various factors including current business trends. Collaborates within cross-functional project teams, ensuring effective information flow and compilation. Coordinates with management and project teams to align projects with business strategies and other transformational initiatives. Demonstrates proficiency in Operational Excellence practices, including Change Management, Project/Program Management, Continuous Improvement, or Data Analytics. Participates in meetings with internal and external stakeholders, often leading collaborative efforts. Contributes to curriculum and training development, facilitating workshops to enhance organizational learning. Performs additional related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND CREDENTIALS:

Bachelor's Degree required. Certification as a Change Management Practitioner (Prosci CCMP) or equivalent is highly preferred.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

2 to 5 years of experience in change management within healthcare or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and course content creation. Ability to engage with senior management on cross-organizational matters. Proven capability to manage cross-functional program and project teams. Strong relationship-building skills and ability to leverage stakeholder relationships. Excellent oral and written communication and presentation abilities. Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop business cases and value propositions. Proficient in translating business requirements into actionable change management plans. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Exceptional planning, organization, analysis, and problem-solving skills. Strong training and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
