PURPOSE AND SCOPE: The role of the Change Manager is to provide leadership and expertise in Operational Excellence to both clinical and administrative teams, facilitating improvements in operational and business performance while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. Collaborating with various Operational Excellence disciplines, this position is responsible for the strategic vision, management, implementation, and successful completion of projects, ensuring they align with the organization's goals and strategies. The Change Manager serves as a subject matter expert in change management methodologies, driving exceptional operational and clinical outcomes through effective change strategies. This role involves engaging teams to develop and execute change management plans that enhance the adoption of new processes and initiatives, while also focusing on skill development within the Operational Excellence Team and the broader organization.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide comprehensive change management support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle across all Operational Excellence functions. Collaborate with all relevant disciplines to define roles and responsibilities in guiding change management strategies. Conduct impact analyses to identify and assess change impacts, readiness, and key stakeholders. Work with technical and business leaders to create stakeholder needs analyses, targeted communications, and change measurement tools. Develop and implement metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor change management progress, reporting regularly on adoption metrics. Apply structured methodologies to lead change management activities, utilizing processes, tools, and templates to support project initiatives. Implement specific change management strategies, including risk identification, stakeholder coordination, and overcoming change obstacles. Design and manage communication efforts to ensure effective delivery of key messages. Utilize existing organizational change frameworks to develop and refine comprehensive change strategies for high-impact initiatives. Address diverse issues to deliver improvements and transformational change, analyzing various factors including current business trends. Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to facilitate information flow and project integration with business strategies. Communicate effectively with all management levels and project teams to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Demonstrate proficiency in Operational Excellence practices, including Change Management, Project Management, Continuous Improvement, or Data Analytics. Lead discussions and presentations with internal and external stakeholders, fostering cooperative efforts among project team members. Contribute to curriculum and training development, facilitating workshops to enhance organizational learning. Perform additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND REQUIRED CREDENTIALS :

Bachelor's Degree required. Certification as a Change Management Practitioner (Prosci CCMP) or equivalent is highly preferred.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

2 to 5 years of experience in change management within healthcare or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and course creation. Ability to engage with senior management on cross-organizational matters. Experience managing cross-functional teams and projects. Proven ability to build positive relationships and leverage stakeholder connections. Strong communication and presentation skills, both oral and written. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to construct business cases and value propositions. Capability to translate business requirements into effective change management plans. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Exceptional planning, organization, analysis, and problem-solving skills. Strong training and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
