Operational Change Leader

OBJECTIVE AND SCOPE: The role entails providing leadership and expertise in Operational Excellence to both clinical and administrative personnel, aiming to enhance operational and business performance while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. Collaborating with various Operational Excellence disciplines, this position manages both business and technical discussions, overseeing the vision, direction, management, implementation, and completion of assigned projects in alignment with organizational objectives and strategies. The individual will serve as a subject matter expert in change management methodologies, driving exceptional operational and clinical outcomes. This role involves facilitating teams to develop and execute change management strategies that promote the adoption of new processes and programs, while also fostering skill development within the Operational Excellence Team and across the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide change management project/program support and guidance across all Operational Excellence functions throughout the project lifecycle, acting as the change management authority. Collaborate with all Operational Excellence disciplines to define roles and responsibilities for guiding change management strategies. Conduct impact analyses to identify and assess change impacts, readiness, and key stakeholders. Work with technical and business leaders to create stakeholder needs analyses, targeted communications, and change measurement tools that drive change adoption. Develop and implement metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track change management plan progress, regularly reporting on adoption metrics and seeking continuous improvement opportunities. Utilize a structured methodology to lead change management activities, leveraging processes, tools, and templates to create strategies that support project initiatives. Implement specific change management strategies, including planning, risk identification, stakeholder coordination, and overcoming change obstacles. Design, develop, deliver, and manage key communications to support change initiatives. Use existing organizational change tools and frameworks to create, manage, and refine comprehensive change strategies for complex, high-impact initiatives. Address diverse issues to facilitate improvements and transformational change, analyzing various factors including current business trends. Collaborate with cross-functional project teams, ensuring effective information flow and project integration with business strategies. Communicate with all management levels and relevant project teams to ensure alignment with business strategies and other transformational initiatives. Demonstrate proficiency in Operational Excellence practices and principles, including Change Management, Project/Program Management, Continuous Improvement, or Data Analytics. Participate in and lead meetings with internal and external stakeholders, fostering cooperative efforts among project team members. Contribute to curriculum and training development, facilitating workshops to enhance organizational learning in Operational Excellence. Perform additional related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND CREDENTIALS:

Bachelor's Degree required Certified Change Management Practitioner (Prosci CCMP) or equivalent certification is highly preferred.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

2 to 5 years of experience in change management and healthcare, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred experience in instructional design, curriculum design, and course development. Ability to engage with senior management on cross-organizational matters. Proven ability to manage cross-functional program and project teams. Strong relationship-building skills and ability to leverage stakeholder relationships. Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills. Strong analytical skills with the ability to construct business cases and value propositions. Ability to translate business requirements into effective change management plans. Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Exceptional planning, organization, analysis, and problem-solving abilities. Strong training and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams. Proficient in presenting to internal executive leadership and external groups. Excellent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.
