Operational Change Leader

OBJECTIVE AND SCOPE: The role entails providing leadership and expertise in Operational Excellence to both clinical and administrative personnel, aiming to enhance operational and business performance while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. Collaborating with various Operational Excellence disciplines, this position manages both business and technical discussions, overseeing the vision, direction, management, implementation, and completion of assigned projects to align with organizational objectives and strategies. This role serves as a subject matter expert in change management methodologies, facilitating teams to develop and execute strategies that promote the adoption of new processes and programs. A significant focus is placed on developing skills within the Operational Excellence Team and the broader organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide expert change management support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle across all Operational Excellence functions. Collaborate with all Operational Excellence disciplines to define roles and responsibilities for effective change management strategies. Conduct impact analyses to identify and assess change impacts, readiness, and key stakeholders. Work with technical and business leaders to create stakeholder needs analyses, targeted communications, and change measurement tools to drive adoption. Develop and implement metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the progress of change management plans, regularly reporting on adoption metrics and seeking continuous improvement opportunities. Apply structured methodologies to lead change management activities, utilizing processes, tools, and templates to support project initiatives. Support the execution of specific change management strategies, including risk identification, stakeholder coordination, and overcoming change obstacles. Design and manage communication efforts, ensuring the effective delivery of key messages. Utilize existing organizational change frameworks to develop comprehensive change strategies and transition plans for high-impact initiatives. Address diverse issues to facilitate improvements and transformational change, analyzing various factors including current business trends. Collaborate with cross-functional project teams, ensuring effective information flow and project integration with business strategies. Communicate with all management levels and project teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Demonstrate proficiency in Operational Excellence practices, including Change Management, Project Management, Continuous Improvement, or Data Analytics. Participate in meetings with internal and external stakeholders, often leading collaborative efforts among project team members. Contribute to curriculum and training development, facilitating workshops to enhance organizational learning. Perform additional related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND CREDENTIALS:

Bachelor's Degree required. Certified Change Management Practitioner (Prosci CCMP) or equivalent certification is highly preferred.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

2 to 5 years of experience in change management within the healthcare sector or a comparable combination of education and experience. Preferred experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and course creation. Ability to engage with senior management on cross-organizational matters. Proven capability to manage cross-functional teams and projects. Strong relationship-building skills and ability to leverage stakeholder relationships. Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong analytical abilities. Proficient in translating business requirements into effective change management plans. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Exceptional planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong training and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
