OBJECTIVE AND SCOPE: The role entails providing leadership and expertise in Operational Excellence to both clinical and administrative personnel, aiming to enhance operational and business performance while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. Collaborating with various Operational Excellence disciplines, this position engages in both business and technical discussions, overseeing the vision, direction, management, implementation, and completion of assigned projects, ensuring they align with the organization's strategic goals. This role serves as a subject matter expert in change management methodologies, facilitating the creation and execution of strategies that promote the adoption of new processes and programs across medium-sized projects or programs of moderate complexity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides comprehensive change management project/program support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, acting as the change management authority. Collaborates with all Operational Excellence disciplines to clarify roles and responsibilities in guiding change management strategies. Conducts impact analyses to identify and assess change impacts, readiness, and key stakeholders. Works with technical and business leaders to create stakeholder needs analyses, targeted communications, and change measurement tools that effectively drive change adoption. Develops and implements metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the progress of change management plans, regularly reporting on adoption metrics and seeking continuous improvement opportunities. Applies structured methodologies to lead change management activities, utilizing processes, tools, and templates to create strategies that support the necessary changes required by projects and initiatives. Supports the execution of specific change management strategies, including planning, risk identification, stakeholder coordination, and overcoming change obstacles. Facilitates communication efforts by designing, developing, delivering, and managing essential communications. Utilizes existing organizational change tools and frameworks to develop, manage, and refine comprehensive change strategies and transition plans for significant organizational initiatives. Addresses diverse issues to deliver improvements and transformational change, analyzing various factors, including current business trends. Collaborates within a team to achieve improvements and transformational change, assembling cross-functional project teams and ensuring effective information flow. Coordinates and communicates with all management levels, project teams, and process owners to ensure project integration with business strategies and other transformational initiatives. Demonstrates proficiency in Operational Excellence practices and business principles, mastering skills in at least one key area such as Change Management, Project/Program Management, Continuous Improvement, or Data Analytics. Participates in and leads meetings with internal and external representatives, fostering cooperative efforts among project team members. Contributes to curriculum and training development, providing educational instruction and facilitating workshops to enhance organizational learning in their discipline. Performs additional related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND CREDENTIALS:

Bachelor's Degree required Certified Change Management Practitioner (Prosci CCMP) or equivalent certification is highly preferred.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

2 to 5 years of experience in change management and healthcare or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred experience in instructional design, curriculum design, and course development. Ability to engage with senior management on matters requiring cross-organizational coordination. Proven capability to manage cross-functional program and project teams. Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships and leverage existing stakeholder connections. Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to construct business cases and value propositions. Ability to translate business requirements into coherent change management plans that align with project structures. Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Exceptional planning, organization, analysis, and problem-solving skills. Strong training and facilitation skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams. Proficient in presenting to internal executive leadership and external groups. Excellent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.
