**Duties**:

- Assist the Region Counsel, Defense Contract Management Agency International (DCMAI), in providing or coordinating all legal advice and services required by a worldwide organization operating in multiple countries.
- Provide legal advice and assistance to the command, DCMAI, and higher headquarters regarding unique complex issues arising from the international aspects of the organization and its overseas contract administration mission.
- Advise the command on personnel and labor relations issues involving employees who are U.S. citizens, or direct or indirect hire foreign nationals, including third country nationals.
- Assists the DCMAI Region Counsel with providing fraud awareness training and ethics training in accordance with the training plan.
- Advises the command on contract administration legal and policy issues arising in an international environment.

**Qualifications**:

- To qualify, applicants must possess the first professional law degree (LL.B. or J.D.).- Applicants must possess professional legal experience in excess of 3 years that is commensurate with the duties and responsibilities of the position. - Excellent interpersonal skills and client relationships, and the ability to interact well with senior officials on controversial and sensitive issues.

Additional selection factors:

- Federal sector legal experience, preferably DoD, in the following areas is not required but will be given favorable consideration: employment, fiscal, Government contracts, information, administrative law, or status of personnel overseas.

If an employee brings an infant or toddler (up to 3yrs of age) to an overseas location, and that infant or toddler is entitled to attend the DoDEA on a space-required basis, then the Military Dept responsible for Early Intervention Services will provide the infant or toddler with the required EIS.
