General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a seasoned Intelligence Systems Architect to provide support to our client. The Architect collaborates with system users to convert their needs into a comprehensive systems architecture, outlining necessary systems, data flows, and integration requirements while identifying potential challenges to enhance interoperability and fulfill mission objectives.
The Architect is responsible for formulating testing strategies and engaging with leadership, intelligence analysts, and system operators to refine the theater architecture, ensuring efficient data flow and product delivery throughout the operational theater.
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience with various Army Programs of Record, including but not limited to, DCGS-A, Palantir, CPCE, AFATDS, and JADOCS. A background as a former Service Intelligence Analyst, with knowledge of Multi-Domain Operations, Intelligence Preparation of the Battlefield, and Army Doctrine related to Large Scale Combat Operations is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop intricate flow charts, models, diagrams, and procedures.
- Conduct feasibility studies to evaluate alternatives and design viable system solutions.
- Investigate emerging technologies and DoD programs to propose modifications to the theater intelligence architecture.
- Advise clients and team members on system utilization, integration, architecture design, and data management.
- Facilitate the integration of systems, technology, data flow, and architecture across multiple organizations.
- Oversee several concurrent projects pertinent to enterprise intelligence architecture and intelligence systems.
- Manage extensive projects addressing complex issues with significant organizational impact.
- Maintain interoperability architecture with Coalition and NATO partners.
- Identify theater requirements through collaboration with stakeholders to create technical documentation guiding system users and developers.
- Serve as a recognized expert in the integration of intelligence systems and architectures through advanced education and experience.
- Establish and advise on operational plans and contribute to systems planning.
- Present briefings to stakeholders on architecture design, project updates, current challenges, and proposed solutions.
- Lead architecture working groups to inform the enterprise about initiatives and solicit feedback on existing gaps and issues.
- Perform advanced analysis and systems integration while mentoring less experienced personnel.
- Act as a team or task leader, prioritizing tasks, reviewing deliverables, and coaching junior teammates.
- Execute work critical to the organization.
Qualifications for Success:
- Security Clearance Required: An active TS/SCI Security Clearance
- Experience: Proven experience in designing Intelligence Architecture; experience with enterprise architecture design, support, and integration for theater operations; familiarity with SysML, DoDAF, and UML.
- Experience in NATO/Coalition environments; proficiency with DCGS-A or equivalent all-source intelligence systems is essential.
- Education: DISMG Graduate preferred. BA/BS (or equivalent experience), with 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Certification: Valid DoD 8570.2/8140 IAT II certification is required.
