**Job Description**:
As a senior sales manager you will be responsible for recruiting and retaining talent and driving revenue. You will provide examples of how you impact growth via your team with an emphasis on the four pillars of the role, namely: Manager, Coach, Teacher and Mentor.
- Hire, develop and retain a team of passionate, coachable and curious sales professionals.
- Achieve bookings goals on a consistent basis, with close attention to forecast accuracy.
- Lead and manage a high performing customer focused team of Account Executives to deliver business value and an exceptional client experience. This includes coaching sellers on skills and knowledge and role playing how to get better.
- Listen to AE sales calls, ensure all steps in cadence are respected, lead morning stand up meetings, and join client calls to help close more complex deals.
- Execute and champion the sales strategy to achieve sales goals, increase sales productivity and achieve key performance indicators.
- Establish a culture of predictability, focusing on the skills, knowledge and operating rhythm required to ensure targets are met on a consistent basis.
- Manage communication with your team so that everyone understands how their individual contributions align with the company's goals and objectives.
- DIrect and navigate sales motions that combine: direct and indirect, bottoms up and top down as well as inbound and outbound.
- Champion the company culture and be an ambassador for Ventions values.
- Help team members with their career planning and development, ensuring that they realize their full potential in sales at Vention
- Maintain and drive a culture of continuous improvement, open communication and trust.

**Qualifications**:

- You have over 4 years of previous sales management experience
- You’ve worked as an Account Executive or Account Manager or Team Leader for multiple years and demonstrated track record of high performance
- You bring industry relevant experience (industrial automation, manufacturing technology, robotics)
- You’re recognized by your peers as an amazing sales coach that fosters a culture of high performance, trust and collaboration
- You have proven experience advocating for the needs of your team in the context of the wider companies goals and objectives
- Capable of having crucial conversations and creating a psychologically safe environment
- You thrive in a fast-paced, high growth and rapidly changing environment.
- Domain experience in manufacturing automation, industrial automation, robotics is a strong advantage
