**Duties**:
- Develop, implement and administer various aspects of cybersecurity in relation to the Regional Cyber Center-Europe (RCC-E) and the Enterprise Services that they provide to the US Army-Europe (USAREUR) Theater.
- Review policies, Operation Orders (OPORDS), and Task Orders (TASKORDS) to ensure adherence to guidance and evaluate the potential impacts they will have on current operations and the security posture of the RCC-E.
- Responsible for ensuring that the RCC-E managed information systems and related components are being secured and updated as required by System/Network Administrators (SAs/NAs).
- As an RCC-E expert for computer network defense, the position is a point of contact for all aspects of cybersecurity, computer network defense, and network security within the RCC-E.
- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining the RCC-E Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation and security documentation to include coordinating with the USAREUR Assessments and Authorization team.
- Perform vulnerability management and provide guidance on the proper hardware/software required to bring systems/networks into regulatory compliance.
- Manage and coordinate with the DCOD (Defensive Computer Operations Division) all security related trouble tickets involving actual/attempted intrusions, computer viruses, worms, etc. that occur within the Enterprise Services footprint of RCC-E.

- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Applicants must comply with the Exceptional Family Member Program requirements as outlined in the DoD Instruction 1315.19.
- This position is designated as Mission Essential. In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
- This position is designated as Non-Critical Sensitive. Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance eligibility.
- Required to obtain and maintain a USAREUR driver's license, in addition, the employee must possess a valid stateside driver?s license prior to arrival at the OCONUS duty location.
- Incumbent must maintain a functioning telephone to aid in contact during recall/emergency situations.
- This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain the appropriate Information Assurance certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program, within 6 months of entry onto duty.
- All individuals performing technical functions are required to sign a Privileged-Level Access Agreement (PAA) and Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).

**Qualifications**:
- This position is designated as an IAM II (i.e. CAP, GSLC, CISM, CISSPor CASP) and IAT III (i.e. CISA, GSE, SCNA, CISSP or CASP) for personnel obtaining privileged access Incumbent must be able to obtain required baseline certification/recertification and a computing environment certification/recertification, for personnel with privileged access, within 6 months of employment and maintain updated certification per DoD Directive 8570- 01-M,, AR 25-2, and as detailed in the Information Assurance (IA) Training and Certification Best Business Practice (BBP).
- Due to COVID-19, the agency is currently in an expanded telework posture. If selected, you may be expected to temporarily telework, even if your home is located outside the local commuting area. Once employees are permitted to return to the office, you will be expected to report to the duty station listed on this announcement within a designated time frame identified by the organization.
