Business Development Manager (m/f/d) - Exhibition International


For our client E3 World we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (m/f/d) to join the International Desk of the Exhibition team, focusing on driving growth towards the Middle East (U.A.E. and Saudi Arabia). The successful candidate will leverage their existing network in industries such as Energy, Defense, Healthcare, Food, Beauty, Leisure, Live Event and Tech to expand the client base and drive revenue. Reporting directly to the Head of Exhibition division based in Dubai, UAE, this role requires an independent strategic thinker with a passion for delivering exceptional results.


Your Responsibilities:


  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive landscapes in the exhibition industry. Analyze customer needs and preferences to tailor offerings accordingly.
  • Business Development Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets. Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships within the Energy, Defense, Healthcare, Food, Beauty, Leisure, Live Event and Tech sectors.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, exhibitions agencies and industry stakeholders across Germany and Western Europe. Understand customer requirements and provide innovative solutions to meet their needs. Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Sales and Revenue Generation: Drive sales initiatives to achieve revenue targets for exhibitions. Prepare and present compelling proposals to potential clients, demonstrating the value of our services. Track commercial terms and financial deliverables. Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts and track performance against targets through our CRM. Negotiate terms and contracts with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Networking: Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance the company's presence and foster new relationships. Leverage existing network and industry contacts to generate leads and drive business growth.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, logistics, and marketing, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction


Qualifications:


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Sales Experience: Several years of experience in business development within the exhibition industry
  • Network: Strong portfolio of clients and network of contacts within the sector. A strong focus on European exhibitors and key industries.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and the ability to close deals. Fluency in English (both written and spoken); additional languages such as German, French, or Spanish are a plus.
  • Self-Motivation: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets. Detail-oriented and highly organized. Ability to work and perform independently without constant supervision.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, as required.
  • Travel: High level of willingness to travel
  • Tools: MS Office, CRM, ERP and event management software and tools.
