Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team in Frankfurt. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for expanding our market share in the DACH, Netherlands, and CIS regions.
Your primary focus will be on developing relationships with Consumer Goods Enterprises and Government Agencies, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.
You will work closely with our Sales Director to create and execute strategies to sell subscription products, manage contracts, and build a portfolio of satisfied clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Initiating and closing sales of subscription services
- Developing business through regular meetings with clients
- Facilitating round table debates and conferences to build network and pipeline
- Identifying and establishing relationships with key stakeholders
- Working closely with the Sales Director to create and execute sales strategies
- Managing the contract and approval process for new business
- Building a portfolio of satisfied clients and developing the existing client base
To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record in Business Development with a strong Consultative sales approach. You will also have:
- Experience selling at a senior level and mapping business requirements across an organization
- A business-related degree and an interest in economics
- Ability to successfully turn cold-called prospects into solid business contacts
- Experience developing relationships with Consumer Goods Enterprises and/or Government Agencies
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify sales gaps
- Fluent German and English is essential; further European languages are an advantage
- Ability to travel up to 30%
