At Global Service and Parts, we accompany the entire life cycle of Mercedes-Benz and smart vehicles, from the service-oriented design of our products to market launch and product support and maintenance. We support the service organizations worldwide, if necessary also on site. We work closely with our partners from GSP, development, production, purchasing, legal and quality. We create operating instructions, write diagnostic procedures and are the experts in parts technology, as well as in product evaluation and regulation.
In the after-sales area, we are responsible for project management in strategic vehicle projects and for series support for large cars & SUVs. On the one hand, we ensure the serviceability of new vehicles and, on the other, we look after current series worldwide.
The core task in strategic new vehicle projects is the coordination of service technology and the project management of relevant sub-areas in the after-sales business (marketing, logistics, training, documentation, profit contribution, diagnostics, etc.). In series support, our main tasks include the rapid technical analysis of field complaints with the aim of ensuring long-term customer satisfaction. We achieve this through service-oriented technical measures that are developed in cooperation with development, production and quality management.
You will gain a detailed insight into the project and after-sales world of Mercedes-Benz as well as the interaction between development, production, marketing and other departments of Mercedes-Benz AG.
As part of your work at the Sindelfingen site, you will have the opportunity to work directly on the vehicle, with analysis data and various business intelligence solutions in addition to your own conceptual work.
The start is planned from September 4, but can also take place on ..4 after consultation.
Your tasks in detail:
Researching the technical background and causes of customer complaints Analysis of construction series-specific topics and their preparation as part of monthly warranty and goodwill reporting Data analysis, preparation and follow-up, as well as participation in the relevant decision-making bodies in development and production Technical and business assessments of technical vehicle concepts Development and documentation of repair and service concepts for various vehicle scopes Conception, implementation and documentation of vehicle checks (checking the repairability of vehicle components) Support in spare parts tracking and reporting for future series and series in the start-up phase, independent implementation of weekly coordination rounds with purchasing, logistics and after-sales Support in the evaluation of low-speed crash tests as part of determining the insurance classification of new vehicles Collaboration in the planning and preparation of upcoming new vehicle launches Qualifikationen Degree in engineering (mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, automotive, service), IT sciences, economics (international business, technical business administration) or a comparable degree program Proficient in written and spoken German and English Confident handling of MS Office Analytical and strategic results orientation Customer and service orientation Team & communication skills First experience in presentation of facts desirable Driving license and good technical understanding and affinity for vehicles an advantage Experience abroad/intercultural experience desirableAdditional information:
