The Senior Supply Chain Manager at DCUBED is tasked with ensuring operational excellence within the              company's supply chain functions, while also establishing a strong foundation for future growth and addressing   upcoming challenges related to import and export

  • Logistics: 
    1. Technical and disciplinary management of incoming goods, warehousing, on-time production supply     and shipping to ensure smooth processes
    2. Oversee internal and external logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of product
    3. Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize the flow of goods and materials.
    4. Coordination of external logistics service providers as well as drafting and negotiating framework and individual contracts with the aim of optimising costs
    5. Manage warehouse operations, including inventory control, storage, and distribution.
    6. Implement and maintain logistics technology systems to improve operational efficiency and visibility
  • Procurement: 
    1. Develop and implement effective procurement strategies and policies.
    2. Identify, evaluate and select suppliers to ensure high-quality materials and services.
    3. Negotiate contracts, terms and pricing with suppliers to achieve the best possible terms.
    4. Monitor and manage supplier performance, ensuring compliance with quality standards and delivery timelines.
  • Supply Chain: 
    1. Budget management, reporting and planning of investment decisions
    2. Communication and cooperation with management, sales and production
    3. Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and internal regulations
    4. Maintaining and expanding successful business relationships with customers and service providers
    5. Promoting a culture of innovation within the supply chain department
Here is what you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Several years of professional experience in logistics
  • Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager or similar role in a relevant industry.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, and supplier management principles and practices.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make strategic decisions.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and confident, confident appearance as well as a transformative leadership 
  • Many years of experience in supporting customers and business partners
  • Excellent analytical skills and in-depth understanding of processes
  • Structured, goal-oriented and independent way of working
  • Business fluent German and English skills
  • Willingness to shape and build up a section in a highly dynamic innovative startup environment
