Senior Product Marketing Manager (m/f/d) for Automotive Battery Management Systems
We are seeking a highly qualified and driven individual (m/f/d) with a blend of technical expertise and business insight, particularly in the realm of automotive Battery Management Systems (BMS). The ideal candidate will possess extensive connections within the automotive ecosystem, including semiconductor manufacturers, Tier 1 suppliers, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and service providers.
Location: This role is available in various locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis for Automotive Battery Management Systems. Continuously acquire and maintain an understanding of the business landscape and competitive dynamics.
- Establish, nurture, and sustain vital relationships with key clients.
- Lead the development of the Automotive Battery Management Roadmap, encompassing hardware, firmware/software, and collaboration with ecosystem partners surrounding Renesas Automotive Products.
- Gather and prioritize product requirements, feature requests, and market needs, working closely with system architects and application teams to ensure the delivery of distinctive solutions and the achievement of critical product milestones efficiently.
- Oversee business case development, demand forecasting, and volume projections for both short-term and mid-term planning, contributing to a comprehensive five-year strategic plan that includes market modeling.
- Coordinate responses to Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Quotation (RFQ), leading cross-functional teams to deliver timely, high-quality, and compelling proposals in partnership with the Sales team.
- Act as a representative of the company at industry events and conferences.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in automotive electronic engineering, computer science, power electronics, automation engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 15 years of professional experience in electrical engineering, mechatronics, and Battery Management Systems.
- Familiarity with automotive semiconductor development processes and qualifications.
- Possess an entrepreneurial mindset, strong leadership capabilities, and analytical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated ability in complex problem-solving and a results-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with cross-functional teams, both technical and non-technical, in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative environment.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- In-depth understanding of automotive microcontroller technologies, architectures, and applications, with a proven history of successful marketing experience in this field.
