Manager, Marketing and Communications

The Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN) is a not-for-profit organisation established by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) in 2024 to harness technology and foster innovation for more efficient, resilient, and inclusive financial ecosystems through global partnerships. GFTN organises convening forums, offers advisory services on innovation ecosystems, provides access to transformative digital platforms, and invest in technology startups with the potential for growth and positive social impact through its venture fund.
Key Responsibilities
1. Localisation & Campaign Integration
- Work closely with GFTN headquarters to localise global campaigns for the European market.
- Ensure messaging resonates with key European stakeholders while staying fully aligned with GFTN's global brand and marketing strategy.
- Provide Europe-specific insights during global campaign planning, content development, and creative direction.
2. Regional Campaign Management
- Design and execute Europe-specific marketing campaigns across owned, earned, and paid channels in coordination with HQ.
- Lead storytelling, promotional messaging, and communication strategies tailored to Europe's fintech and digital economy ecosystems.
- Oversee localisation and cultural adaptation of global materials for European audiences.
3. Agency & Partner Management
- Manage relationships with local European creative, PR, and media agencies, ensuring high-quality and cost-efficient execution.
- Collaborate with HQ to develop briefs, review concepts, and validate outputs aligned with GFTN's brand guidelines and global direction.
4. Digital & Social Media
- Lead GFTN Europe's digital presence and social media activities across relevant European platforms.
- Develop, localise, and schedule original content aligned with global campaign calendars.
- Monitor regional performance metrics and digital trends, sharing insights and recommendations with HQ.
5. Content Creation & Community Engagement
- Lead the creation and distribution of high-quality digital content (blogs, newsletters, videos, infographics, etc.) that positions GFTN as a thought leader in Europe's fintech ecosystem.
- Grow and engage the online community through innovative digital initiatives and interactive content.
- Partner with HQ's Content & Content Marketing teams to ensure brand alignment, message consistency, and cross-channel integration.
6. Website & SEO
- Maintain and update the Europe-specific section of the GFTN website.
- Coordinate with HQ's digital and marketing operations teams to ensure SEO alignment, tag structure, and content consistency.
- Track website performance and propose improvements based on analytics and regional best practices.
7. Analytics & Optimisation
- Monitor, analyse, and report on digital marketing performance using tools such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, and region-relevant platforms.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve digital strategy, campaign effectiveness, and audience engagement.
- Align reporting frameworks, dashboards, and KPIs with HQ's digital and marketing operations teams.
8. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the Europe Lead on community building, ecosystem engagement, and regional events.
- Collaborate with GFTN headquarters teams, including:
- Content & Content Marketing
– to adapt messaging and deliver Europe-relevant content - CRM & Marketing Operations
– to align customer journeys, data capture, and outreach workflows - Digital Marketing
– to integrate paid media, SEO, and digital strategy - Forums Team
– to support marketing, positioning, and audience acquisition for Europe-based events and initiatives
Qualifications & Requirements
- 6–10 years of experience in marketing and communications, ideally within B2B, fintech, technology, or innovation ecosystems.
- Strong command of English.
- Demonstrated success in planning, executing, and optimising multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Proficiency in social media management, CMS platforms, SEO, and analytics tools.
- Experience working with agencies and coordinating with global teams across multiple time zones.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
- International outlook and cross-cultural communication fluency.
- Excellent interpersonal, project management, and storytelling skills.
