As the bridge between People Operations and managers across Tech, Product, and beyond, you'll help the People team stay proactive and ready for Vay's next phase of growth. You'll bring operational excellence and strategic thinking together, driving critical people programs, optimising processes, and partnering with leaders to ensure every Vay team member can thrive. **_ What you'll be driving:_**: - Be a trusted partner to managers across Tech, Product, and other departments—advising on performance, development, team health, and complex HR topics. - Own and optimize core HR processes like payroll coordination, employee surveys, and performance reviews. - Drive strategic people programs such as promotions, development plans, engagement initiatives, and talent frameworks. - Maintain and evolve policies and HR documentation to ensure compliance, clarity, and accessibility for all teams. - Support on people analytics efforts—co-authoring bi-annual reports and using data to support leadership decisions. - Run cross-functional projects—from anti-harassment and on-call policies to relocation and manager enablement programs. **_What are we looking for:_**: - 5+ years in HR roles, with at least 3 in an HR Business Partner or equivalent advisory capacity. - Proven track record in fast-growing tech/startup environments, ideally across Germany and international setups. - Deep knowledge of HR operations, German employment law, German payroll, and talent development practices. - Strong project management and change management experience, including policy design and rollout. - Excellent communicator in English **and** German (must), capable of working across teams and levels. - Data-savvy and analytical; comfortable creating reports and extracting actionable insights. - Strong organizational and prioritization skills—able to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders. - You love creating clarity and driving progress. - Comfortable with ambiguity and adaptable in a fast-moving, evolving business. **Why Vay?** Genius level team - Work with the smartest minds from over 30 countries around the world in deep tech & automotive Huge scope for impact in a fast paced environment Salary + stock options Unlimited Paid Vacation Days Subsidised BVG transport ticket (Berlin) ️️ Subsidised gym membership ️ Exclusive external discounts Snacks & Drinks in waterfront Berlin office Pension contributions Fun team events throughout the year **Introduction to Vay** For more information regarding Vay's physical demands, working environments, and safety requirements, please review this link for additional details.
