**The Opportunity as a Head of Operations**:
We are looking for an outstanding leader to join as our Head of Operations.

This leadership role requires an experienced professional with a proven track record in optimising logistics operations, strong people management skills, and a strategic mindset to drive operational efficiency. **Your responsibilities as a Head of Operations**:

- Lead and coordinate a team of Logistics Agents, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal performance
- Oversee the entire booking journey, from Sales to Driver allocation, ensuring a seamless and customer-focused process
- Provide leadership and guidance to the team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency and meet business objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance communication and coordination across different departments
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess team and individual performance, implementing improvements as needed
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the support teams, keeping them up-to-date with company policies, industry trends and updates to our internal systems
- Act as a liaison between the team and other stakeholders, providing feedback and insights to contribute to overall business growth
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to make informed decisions and recommendations
- Handle escalations and resolve complex issues, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
- Manage budgetary responsibilities for the operations department, including cost control and resource allocation and work with our vendor management team where necessary
- Develop and nurture relationships with key partners and vendors to support the company's objectives
- Collaborate with the global management team to align strategies and contribute to the overall success of the company

**To be successful in this position as a Head of Operations we are looking for the following attributes and experience**:

- Fluent in both English and German, with excellent communication skills in both languages
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the logistics or supply chain industry
- Demonstrated success in managing and optimising logistics operations in a technology-driven environment (desirable)
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent organisational and project management abilities
- In-depth knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes, particularly in the context of house moves and transporting large goods
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and process improvement
- Familiarity with relevant technologies and software used in logistics and operations management
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners
- Strategic thinking and the ability to develop and implement operational plans aligned with business goals
- Knowledge of German logistics regulations and industry standards
- Financial acumen for budget management and cost control
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions
- Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency
