**Duties**: - Serves as a Datacenter Support Specialist in the Network Management Branch, Regional Cyber Center-Europe (RCC-E). - Works as part of a team consisting of 4 to 6 GS-12, GS-13 Contactor and Military team members in operations and maintenance of datacenter infrastructure. - Serves as a member of a team dedicated to providing management of the datacenter fabric infrastructure consisting of Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure. - Utilizes an array of 9k, 5k and 2k switches and fabric extenders, BIP-IP F5 load balancers, and integrated service routers used to establish connectivity to an enterprise network across European/African theaters. **Requirements**: **Conditions of Employment**: - Three year trial/probationary period may be required. - Incumbent must be able to obtain/maintain a no-fee United States Passport. - Temporary Duty (TDY) Travel is required approximately 10% of the time requiring the employee to travel away from the normal duty station. - This position requires the incumbent to hold Foundation Qualification Option personnel certification or demonstrate qualifying experience as outlined in DoD 8140.03. - Incumbent is required to satisfactorily complete the appropriate training and obtain the required FQO for certification/recertification for Cyberspace Workforce Roles: 441 (FQO Advanced) and 541 (FQO basic or higher). - The incumbent may demonstrate an acceptable experience level as an alternate to a FQO, however, failure to demonstrate an acceptable experience level and/or acquire FQO certifications may result in a termination of employment. - Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a favorable Single Scope Background Investigation (T5/SSBI) with Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information clearance eligibility. Position requires Top-Secret Clearance. - The incumbent is required to sign a DA Form 5019-R and must pass urinalysis testing, as required prior to appointment and periodically thereafter. - This position is designated as mission critical. - Duties of this position may require shifted work hours based on operational or mission requirements. - Permanent change of shift will be at the determination of the second level supervision. The incumbent may also be in an "on-call" status on a rotational basis with other members of their team. - Call back and emergency duty are regular requirements of this position. - May be required to carry a Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) cellular device. - Must possess and maintain a valid stateside driver's license. - Must be able to obtain and maintain a USAREUR Driver's license within 60 days of arrival. **Qualifications**: **Who May Apply**: **This position is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure.**- - To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by: Performing analysis of information system design and integration of new networks/systems and network equipment; Resolving technical problems associated with complex communications systems and networks; Reviewing operational requirements and resolving system design or compatibility issues; Designing and installing networks/systems and network equipment. - The specialized experience must include, or be supplemented by, information technology related experience (paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training, as appropriate) which demonstrates each of the four competencies, as defined: - (1) Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. Examples of IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: completing thorough and accurate work independently, even in the most difficult or stressful situations; occasionally reviewing work completed by others. - (2) Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
