**Duties**: - Serve as Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) Administrator to include database administrator (DBA) responsible for all aspects of the Microsoft SQL relational database management system architectures. - Assist in developing the strategy for optimal use of Structured Query Language (SQL) services and systems integration with other collaborative tools within the organization. - Responsible for the configuration and maintenance of servers running a combination of Microsoft SQL versions on top of Clustered Windows Server environments. - Use of Microsoft Transact -SQL, and Microsoft PowerShell is required in order to develop new, and maintain established automation processes which facilitate the day to day operations of the database management system infrastructures. - Provide daily system administrator support as needed for all enterprise servers. - Interpret and implement command policies, directives, and regulations based on guidance from management. - Develop requirements and specifications for IT systems; Consult with customers to refine functional requirements and translate functional requirements into technical specifications **Requirements**: **Conditions of Employment**: - You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. - Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. - Two year trial/probationary period may be required. - Applicants must comply with the Exceptional Family Member Program requirements as outlined in the DoD Instruction 1315.19. - This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain the appropriate Information Assurance certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program, within 6 months of entry onto duty. - This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. - Employee shifts may be rotated on a regularly scheduled basis. - Incumbent may be on an "on-call" status on a rotational basis. - Call back and emergency duty are regular requirements of this position. - The incumbent may be required to carry a cellular telephone and maintain a working personal telephone at all times. - The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles. - Must be able to obtain and maintain a USAREUR Driver's license within 60 days of employment. - Position requires employee to successfully complete locally identified recurring Information Assurance Security training. - This position requires the incumbent to possess, or obtain and maintain, a valid official U.S. Passport. - This position MAY be eligible for regular and recurring telework. - See "Qualifications" section for additional requirements. **Qualifications**: - This position is designated "Mission Essential."
