**Your new role**

**Your key responsibilities**

As part of a multidisciplinary project team, you will take on diverse tasks and responsibilities in onshore wind projects of varied complexity and scale, such as:

- Line management of team with varying seniority levels in different competence areas
- Grow team across Germany, incl. career and talent development and opening of new office hubs
- Set strategic direction and expand client base by proactively developing key clients and services for project development and advisory within onshore wind in Germany in close collaboration with the German wind management team as well as in alignment with the global onshore wind advisory organization
- Act as Project Manager for complex, multi-service technical and commercial project assignments
- Support our overall onshore wind strategy to unlock and implement combined services from business areas of wind engineering, project development, general advisory, environment & and permitting to system integration as well as power-to-x

**Your new team**

You will join and lead an existing team focussing on onshore wind project development with a good mix of seniority and technical background. The team is currently mainly based in Essen, Kassel, and Hamburg, but we plan to expand to new hubs and locations across Germany. You will be part of and collaborate closely with our global Wind Advisory team and will report to the Head of Wind Advisory in Germany. Based on our organizational matrix, you will also have an interface with our global Head of Onshore Wind based in Sweden.

The focus in the coming year will be to manage and grow the German team and market presence. Furthermore, you will build a reliable network and interact with international colleagues to enable the team to play a critical role in defining and delivering a strategy that will go beyond Germany in the medium term.

**About you**

- Master’s degree (or similar) degree in an engineering discipline or with a focus on project planning and permitting, preferably with a focus on wind or renewable energies
- Preferably a minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience within onshore wind, but we are also open for applicants with fewer years of experience when bringing the right entrepreneurial mindset and wind advisory background
- Substantial experience in onshore wind project development, execution, or operation within a project developer organization or in a consultancy company
- Profound industry knowledge and a thorough understanding of technical, commercial, and environmental / permitting aspects of wind farm development
- Proven track record in managing teams as well as dealing with multidisciplinary projects
- High level of proficiency in written and spoken German; background and willingness to develop business English skills to a relevant level to work in an international company and market environment
