The Role

Veeva Systems is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team in Europe. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating and qualifying new leads, building relationships with pharmaceutical companies, and developing into an expert on Veeva's products and industry processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing plans to generate new leads and opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to advance and close opportunities
  • Research and develop plans to break into assigned accounts
  • Partner closely with sales teams to advance and close opportunities over time
  • Build trusted relationships with customers, understand their needs, and recommend the right Veeva products and solutions

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of professional experience in sales development, preferably in technology and/or life sciences
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Team-first mentality with proven success
  • Self-starter, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take initiative
  • BA or BS Degree (STEM, Economics, Accounting, etc.) with solid academic performance
  • Willingness to travel as needed (~25%)
  • Legally authorized to be employed in Germany without limitations or restrictions

  • Experience in consulting, customer success, or project management
  • Experience managing a full sales cycle
  • Experience in scientific research or in clinical trials-related topics
