Databricks is at the forefront of the Unified Data Analytics and AI space, empowering customers to drive innovation and stay ahead in today's competitive landscape. As we expand across Central Europe, we're seeking a seasoned Sales Executive to join our team in Germany and capitalize on the vast market opportunity in the manufacturing & technology sector.
Reporting to our Director of Enterprise Sales, you will focus on building relationships and closing new business opportunities within one of Germany's largest and most iconic technology companies. Your expertise in Big Data, Advanced Analytics, and AI will guide your execution strategy and enable you to provide genuine value to this strategic client.
Your Impact:
- Develop and execute a strategy to meet and exceed revenue and consumption goals for your key account.
- Implement a sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue and consumption targets.
- Establish yourself as a trusted advisor for Data & AI-related subjects with key decision-makers (up to and including C-level).
- Identify new business opportunities and develop expand / consumption use cases within your key account.
- Orchestrate internal teams to maximize the impact on your ecosystem.
- Showcase exceptional value in all engagements to guide successful negotiations and close deals.
What We Look For:
- A successful track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas and KPIs.
- Experience managing large enterprise-class technology, manufacturing, and/or healthcare clients in Germany.
- Proven experience selling complex software deals.
- Understanding of consumption-based land and expand sales models.
- Evidence of creating demand that delivered substantial business value.
- Experience following robust sales methodologies and processes, such as account planning, MEDDPICC, Value Selling, Command of the Message, and accurate forecasting.
- Experience building effective champions and collaborative teams to support execution of your territory plan.
- Experience developing a clear partner strategy and managing it to success.
- Understanding of how to identify important use cases and buying centers to increase the impact of Databricks within an organization.
- Fluent English and German language skills are essential.
