About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to join our team in Germany. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and growing new business opportunities in the DACH region, building strong relationships with key customers, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives in the DACH region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including librarians, faculty leaders, and researchers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including sales of Taylor & Francis Journals and eBooks.
  • Monitor and analyze sales figures, run reports, and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in sales, marketing, and editorial departments to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the customer, market, and specific needs to provide tailored sales services.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in sales or business development roles.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in English and German.
  • Passion for working in the academic publishing field and a deep understanding of the industry.
