Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to join our team in Germany. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and growing new business opportunities in the DACH region, building strong relationships with key customers, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including librarians, faculty leaders, and researchers, to understand their needs and provide tailored sales solutions.
- Sales Strategy and Planning: Plan and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets, including identifying new business opportunities, developing sales plans, and monitoring sales performance.
- Product Knowledge and Training: Stay up-to-date with our products and services, including Taylor & Francis Journals and eBooks, and provide training and support to customers as needed.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and editorial teams, to ensure alignment and coordination of sales efforts.
- Reporting and Analysis: Analyze sales data and provide regular reports to management on sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2+ years of sales experience in a similar industry, preferably in academic publishing or a related field.
- Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, strong organizational and time management skills, and a proven track record of sales success.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, marketing, or communications.
